Derby, November 10, 2015 – Derby-headquartered Gardner Aerospace, Europe’s largest independent manufacturer of aerospace detailed parts and sub-assemblies, is celebrating its regional win at the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards, taking home the Business Growth Award.
The award recognises Gardner for having achieved the most significant growth through actively managed and consistently delivered growth strategies. As a Group, Gardner is focused on the continuous improvement of its operations through the implementation of lean manufacturing, investing in new technology, upgrading its facilities and entering new geographic and product markets. The recent expansion of operations in Poland and India reinforces Gardner’s position as a leading consolidator in the highly fragmented details parts sector, bringing much needed scale, financial strength and capacity to the industry.
Indy Rattu, Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Gardner Aerospace, says: “We are delighted to have won this award, which demonstrates our successful growth strategy built upon listening to our customers, making long-term investments in the Group and hard work. It is welldeserved
recognition for the team and we are all excited to be amongst the many great British manufacturing companies in the running for the national award announced in January.”
This award qualifies Gardner Aerospace for the National Business Growth Award, announced in January 2016.
